Applied Research Based Strategies And Tools To Execute Your Vision, Increase Revenue And See Long-Term Growth

Get Better Results Using The Science Of Human Behavior

As a consultant at McKinsey & Company, Inc. early on in her career, Alison learned important lessons about implementing organizational change. Even though she was hired to effectuate change, she realized quickly that people are hard wired to resist it. Inaction and avoidance were commonplace – and she understood the importance of mastering the human side of management to push an organization forward.

Although leaders often excel as individual contributors, they feel overwhelmed once they have to step into leadership roles. Unsure how to get the people who work for them to execute on strategic plans and corporate vision, they frequently feel frustrated.

Alison has spent her career teaching leaders, teams and organizations how to be more effective so they can get better results – both financially and interpersonally. Behavior science reveals that human beings are predictable. When you understand the psychology behind the behavior it becomes easier to eliminate uncertainty and provide your team with the confidence to and achieve long-term growth.

Echelon gives you the tools to overcome resistance, improve negotiations and more effectively influence others.

As a professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of North Carolina, I teach and mentor executives to become more successful leaders who can execute their company’s strategy. In my 14 years as a research academic and speaker, I’ve come to understand that people who are really good at their job want to learn how to be even better. It’s more than being competent. It’s about being a strong leader and training the next generation to be even stronger.

By working with employees and their teams, I help organizations make a greater impact by eliminating cost, increasing employee retention and helping overall engagement and productivity. With science-based research at the core, I ensure that each of my programs remains educational, experiential, entertaining and executable.

Educational: Grounding each training or workshop in the science of organizational behavior, I employ research findings and theories to teach and shift awareness and provide information relevant to your particular circumstances.

Experiential: Participants have the opportunity to put what they learn to work right away. Each of my trainings and workshops offer people the chance to practice new behaviors and methods in circumstances that occur regularly in the workplace.

Entertaining: Far from boring, I use stories, movie clips, and activities to keep learning fun and informal. Rather than simply talk to my audience, I keep your team engaged and involved in learning.
